Group Social Skills Learning

Our Building Social Connections groups provide children with a supportive space to practice communication, cooperation, and friendship skills alongside peers. These sessions are run by our clinical team under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), ensuring professional guidance and consistency throughout each group.

The PEERS Curriculum, a standardized and evidence-based social skills program, is used to structure activities and promote meaningful interactions. Each session combines structured lessons, guided play, and real-world scenarios that encourage children to share, take turns, solve problems, and express themselves with confidence.

These groups are designed for children who benefit from learning how to navigate social interactions in a safe and encouraging environment. By practicing with peers, children gain opportunities to generalize skills beyond one-on-one therapy, preparing them for school, community, and everyday social settings. Parents receive feedback on their child’s progress and practical tips for reinforcing these skills at home, ensuring growth continues beyond each group session.
